Volunteering
Feels great to give back
The roots of our organization were firmly grounded in volunteering, and giving individuals the opportunity to develop. This remains at the core of the mission of the charity to empower and develop people to equip them to reach their potential.
Volunteering is vital to the sustainability of the organization, the workforce from Directors, CEO, Managerial Staff and Delivery staff all volunteer a percentage of their time.
At the heart of the organization is the desire to empower and equip people to reach their full potential and the organisations works closely with local secondary schools, Sandwell College and Birmingham University to provide placements for students with an opportunity to get on the job experience, share their knowledge gained through their studies.

Fundraising
We understand that not everyone has loads of spare cash hanging around to donate to charity. There is a famous proverb that says “it takes a whole village to raise a child” and an equally famous supermarket that reminds us that “every little helps”
We agree. We ALL have a responsibility to ensure the children in our community thrive, and have access to services and quality play that enable them to do just that! Our relocation project will enable us to make this possible for many more children, but in order to make that happen, we need your help to raise funds!
You don’t have to be an expert, or be able to raise £100’s of pounds! Coffee mornings, fun, ‘sponsored’ events, competitions… feel free to be creative with your fundraising ideas! We have even had a great, sponsored ‘best pet in Sandwell’ competition raise money for our charity in the past!

There is also our small change appeal…. We all have the same issue what to do with our small change, men fill their pockets up and then holes appear in their pockets or even worst annoy their partners or wives by emptying the contents of their pockets on to every surface in the house. Ladies carry handbags full of loose change, making their handbags weigh like a ‘ton of bricks’. Our cars have it all in every spare space….. It’s a universal issue.
Well we would like to help you…. Bring in all your small change that you don’t have any need for and we will gladly add it to our loose change appeal.
